The Mobius Circle no profit organization strongly believes in volunteering as one of the most rewarding and formative experience and in the positive social impacts it generates inside the communities.
Our organization also believes in the importance of social integration and cohesion at local and european level. Indeed the huge contemporary and future social-environmental challenges can only be faced in the sense of cooperation at all levels.
That’s why we decided to take part to the European Solidarity Corps program for which we obtained the Quality Label and give young european people the chance to have a volunteering experience here in Salento.
The European Solidarity Corps program covers travel, lodging and food expences for the volunteers selected. Daily pocket money and full insurance are also provided. And very important, it guarantees training and the possibility to develop personal skills.
It is currently active on the European Youth Portal our volunteering opportunity for 2 youngs coming from Belarus and Slovakia.
Volunteers will be involved in the “Precious Plastic Salento” project and will learn how to recycle plastic waste to create durable and useful staff and will help us to promote the plasticfree and zero waste culture among the community.
